Help Page FAQ Why do I have to register with your site to add my website to your directory? Registration not only protects your listing from being modified by someone else, it also protects the integrity of our directory. Spammers use automated programs to submit junk websites to directories such as ours and this is one way we can fight against that abuse. I had a link in your old directory. Why must I register before I modify my listing? We had to upgrade our program and our only defense against spammers is to ask for registration. This helps us make sure that the directory is as useful as possible to our users. To do this we had to make everyone register. However, if you had a listing already in the directory before we upgraded, the system will have assigned you a username that is equal to the email address you used when you submitted your links. We will need to assign you a password before you sign in. Please reply to the email you get when you request your password from the system or if you no longer have access to that email address, please fill out our contact form and we can proceed from there to see if there is a way to validate your identity and ownership of the link. My link used to be in this directory and now it is gone. What happened? We will now be regularly checking the links to make sure they are working. If the program reports that your link is not responding twice in a row it will be reviewed by a person. If that person is not able to view your website, it will be taken out of the directory. Once your website is back up, please feel free to re-submit to the directory but your ratings and votes will not be saved to carry over to the new listing. Also - if your link is in the same category multiple times, we will delete all but the newest submission. If your link is in multiple categories that do not match the content of your site, we will delete your link from all the most relevant category. In both cases, hits and votes will not be retained. I registered and submitted my link. My link never showed up in the directory and I never got an email about it. What happened? First of all, there are times (though rare) that the system, for one reason or another, messes up. You can feel free to re-submit if you think that is the case and that your link is a good fit for this site. Most of the time when this happens, though, it is because the link was obviously not a good fit for our directory or was considered a spam link and deleted without response (please see our terms to find out what is generally accepted and what is not). If that happens, we figure you probably already knew that your link didn't belong in this directory and didn't need an email to let you know. ;) Is there a way to advertise or pay to have my listing at the top? Will you share my name and email address with other companies? We have a privacy policy located here. We do not share your information with anyone. The information you provide is for our purposes only so that we can list your information in our directory, contact you if needed, or so that you can receive updates when your favorite categories get new listings. Can I suggest a category or report a bad link? That would be great and thank you in advance! If you see a way we could improve listings by adding/changing a category or getting a link that is no longer good out of our directory, please contact us. When you contact us about a bad link, please include the title of the link in our directory and the full address (url) to the website in question. That way it will be easier for us to find and delete from our database. We are constantly trying to find links that have gone bad or add needed categories to improve our directory. Sometimes sites change and people take over domain names and we have no way of knowing unless we run across it or someone lets us know.
